Rajasthan 150 Units Free Registration has already started. On the first day, 6864 consumers registered for the scheme. This scheme works under the Rajasthan Discom, in which they will provide 150 units free per month, and consumers will get 17000 benefit for the installation of a solar rooftop. So recently, on 14th October 2025, Central Home Minister Amit Shah launched the Official Portal, with the help of which you all can complete the registration. Rajasthan Discoms, i.e. the main electricity Distribution company of Rajasthan, are Jaipur Discom, Jodhpur Discom, and Ajmer Discom. Recently started distributing the free 150 Units of electricity to all the consumers of the state. Under which you will get the free 150 units and also separate Financial Benefits of Rs 17,000 for per plant of solar plant. To avail the benefits of this scheme every everyone has to complete the registration on the portal, which was recently launched by Amit Shah, Home Minister of India. What is the Chief Minister Free Electricity Scheme?

This is a really unique scheme, which is launched by the CM of the state, Mr Bhajan Lal Sharma and they are going to transform the electricity of the state and provide affordable and accessible solar energy to all the consumers of the state. The announcement of this scheme was made by the CM during the budget 2025-26, in which the government announced to provide 150 free electricity units under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, in the first step, every consumer will have to register on the portal, which is given below.

With the help of above said portals, you all can complete the registration. The portal is launched on Monday, i.e. 13^th October 2025, at about 7.30 PM. And on the same day total of 6,864 registered on the portal, giving their consent to install the rooftop solar.  In which from Jaipur Discom, a total of 3570, Ajmer Discom 1975, and Jodhpur Discom total of 1319 consumers participate. In the First phase, a 1.1 Kilowatt Rooftop Solar panel gives Rs 17,000 separate financial support in the scheme.

How to Register for 150 Free Electricity Units?

Every electricity consumer of the state will have to visit the above-mentioned portal and then, under Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijali Yojana, have to register. Here, you have to enter your Registration Number to get the benefits of 150 Free Units and then generate OTP. After receiving the OTP, you will get the information about your eligibility and then complete the Registration.  

Consent For Rooftop Solar Panel

During the Registration for availing the benefits of 150 Units Free Registration, every registered consumer will also have to add the details about their roof over which they are willing to have the rooftop solar. You have to fill out the consent form if you are interested in such a scheme. Then, after checking the eligibility of the consumers, the government, with the help of the Registered Vendor, installed the Rooftop Solar on the roof of the Consumer.

Who are Eligible Consumers?

• All the citizens of Rajasthan.
• You can also check your eligibility from the portal by putting your Number and generating OTP Then your eligibility Criteria shown.
• If you are eligible under this scheme, then you have to give a separate consent letter to install the Solar Panel on the rooftop.
• This scheme is only applicable to domestic consumers of the state.

JVNL 150 Units Free Registration

Here, JVNL means Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. If you want to apply from Jaipur Discom Rajasthan, then you have to complete the process, like:-

• Open the portal, i.e. www.energy.rajasthan.gov.in/jvvnl
• On Portal, you will get a link to apply online. Click on it.
• Here you will see the Scheme name, i.e. 150 Units Free Electricity registration link open in front of you.
• Enter your K Number and check eligibility.
• If you think you are eligible, then start completing the registration.

The same process can be completed for Jodhpur and Ajmer Discom of Rajasthan.

150 Units Free Bijlimitra Portal Registration

• All three Rajasthan Discoms and the Government of Rajasthan launched this Bijlimitra Portal for completing the registration to get the benefits of the 150 Unit Fee.
• The official Portal of Bijli Mitra is www.bijlimitra.com/custumerLoginPage.
• Here again, you have to enter your K Number. K number is a Unique number different for every consumer of the state and has 12 digits.
• Now you have to generate the OTP, and then you will receive the same in your registered number.
• Now, put the One Time Password in the given place and then check and verify your eligibility Criteria.
• Here, if you are eligible, then confirm it and click to submit.
• You are also able to download the Bijli Mitra Mobile App on your phone and register with the help of the App.
• To apply offline for the scheme, visit to nearest Office.

JVNL Bijlimitra Consumer Login

All Users who complete the registration will automatically generate a user ID and Password.

• Open the Official Portal of the app and then click on Login.

• Enter Login ID Name and Password, Click to Login.
• Enter the Captcha Code and submit.
• The Dashboard of your account is open in front of you.
