Hello friends, today I am writing about something very important for all the unemployed youth of West Bengal. You must have heard about the new scheme launched by our Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, which is named “Banglar Yuvashathi”. This is a very good opportunity for all of us who are struggling to get jobs. The government is providing Rs. 1,500 every month to support us. But people are confused about where to apply and how to get the Yuva Sathi Prakalpa Camp List. Don’t worry, today I will tell you all about this.
Yuva Sathi Prakalpa Camp List 2026
It’s like a lifeline for us unemployed youths to have this Yuva Sathi scheme in place. Receiving Rs. 1,500 every month may not be a very large amount, but it will help us cover our daily expenses while looking for a job. The important thing to do here is to find the nearest camp from the Yuva Sathi Prakalpa Camp List and reach there before February 26th. Do not wait until the last day to reach the camp, as it will be very crowded.

It’s very important to carry all the necessary documents and fill out the form correctly, as a single mistake can lead to rejection. Once you have submitted the form, you will be provided with an acknowledgment receipt. It would be best to keep it safe, as you never know when you might need it.

Financial Benefits of Yuva Sathi
Let me tell you first about the financial benefits of this scheme. The government is providing an allowance of Rs. 1,500 every month to those who get selected. This amount will be transferred to your bank account, which is linked with your Aadhaar number. This is very good news because you don’t need to go anywhere to get the money.
By the way, an important thing to note is that the benefit is not lifelong. The money will be given to you until you find a job or until 5 years pass, whichever comes first. This means that if you find a job after 2 years, you will receive the money for 2 years, and if you don’t find a job after 5 years, the program ends after 5 years. This is important to note if you want to apply using the Yuva Sathi Prakalpa Camp List.
Eligibility Criteria of Yuva Sathi
Now we are going to discuss the important part, who can apply for the scheme. The government has given some rules and regulations that we must follow. The eligibility criteria depend on your status as of April 1, 2026.
- Age Limit: You should be between 21 and 40 years old. If you are 20 or 41, you cannot apply for the scheme.
- Education: The applicant must have cleared the Madhyamik (Class 10) exam or equivalent. If you have only cleared classes 8 and 9, you’re not eligible to apply. If you have cleared higher studies like graduation and post-graduation, you’re eligible to apply because you must have cleared class 10.
- Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. If you’re a resident of any other state, you’re not eligible to apply.
- Unemployment Status: The applicant must be currently unemployed. If you’re employed or have a business, you’re not eligible to apply.
- Important Exclusion: If you’re already receiving other government schemes like old age pension, widow pension, or any other social security schemes, you’re not eligible to apply for this scheme.
- There’s a very important exception: If you’re receiving a scholarship like Aikyasree, Medhasree, or Sikhasree, you’re eligible to apply for this scheme. This is very good news for students.
Yuva Sathi Application Process
Now, the most important question that everyone asks: where do I apply for this scheme? The answer to that question is a bit tricky. There’s no online application for this scheme right now. The government is handling this offline, and you’ll have to apply at the camps that will be set up in your area.
Where to grab the form?
You can procure the application form from the official website of the Sports and Youth Services Department (sportsandyouth.wb.gov.in). Just click on the ‘News and Events’ button. There, you shall find the form. Alternatively, you can collect the form in hard copy too from the camp office.
Important dates: The dates for the camps are between February 15th to February 26th, 2026. So, hurry up! You have only 12 days to apply.
Hours: The camps are held every day between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Location: The camps are held in all the 294 assembly constituencies in West Bengal. So, you have to visit the assembly constituency-wise camp office. To know the location of the camp office in your area, look for the ‘Yuva Sathi Prakalpa Camp List’ in the newspaper or government offices.
Holiday: Also, note that on Sunday, i.e., February 22nd, the camps are closed. So, do not visit the camps on that day.

Why offline processing?
Everyone keeps asking why there is no option to apply online. The reason given by our Chief Minister is that the scheme will commence on April 1, 2026, and there is very little time left. If it were to be done online, then the process would take a bit longer, and many people would miss the opportunity to apply for this scheme. That’s why offline camps will be arranged to make it easy and quick for everyone.
In these camps, there will be representatives from four different departments: Sports and Youth Affairs, Agriculture, Power, and Irrigation. If you have to do any other work related to these departments, you can do it at the same time.
