The TN Vetri Nichayam Scheme was launched by the CM of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin. On the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme. The main motive for starting this scheme is to decrease the unemployment rate in the state. It gives job opportunities to the youth of the state. The candidates whose age is between 18 to 35 are getting the training by the government. And after that, they can get a job in the big companies of the state.

About Vetri Nichayam Scheme Skill Training
There are so many candidates who have completed their education and have not got any job. For that, government Tamil Nadu state government started the TN Vetri Nichayam Scheme. Under the scheme, candidates of 18 to 35 receive the training from the government. The training is provided by the government, and it’s free of cost. It is a free training program in which, after completing the training period, they get a job according to their skill.
Under the scheme government provides the training of 75000 youth of the state in the first phase. The training is given to the candidates in the top training institute of the state. In this training, there are 165 courses. Candidates are choosing any course according to their interest and getting a job according to the course.
There are 500 training centres in the state. In these trainings, selected candidates receive the training without any cost. The candidates who belong to the special category are getting the encouragement of Rs. 12000 under the scheme.

What is the eligibility for Vetri Nichayam?
- Citizens of the state are eligible under the scheme.
- An age criterion of the scheme is 18 to 35 years.
- Candidates who have stopped their education can also apply for the scheme.
- The candidates who belong to the special category, like Economically backward communities, Schedule Tribes, Sri Lankan Tamils, Fisher Communities and Physically challenged candidates get priority under the scheme.
Ineligibility
- If any candidates form the special category, whose family get the benefit with any other government facility under any scheme, are not eligible under the scheme.
- If the candidates have already completed higher study are not eligible under the scheme.
- The candidates who are already working in any company are not eligible under the scheme.
