What is the Airavata Scheme For SC/ST?
This is the self-employment scheme that is launched by the state government of Karnataka. In this scheme, the government provide the financial assistance to generate employment in the Taxi Transport sector. This scheme also helps the government to create self-employment opportunities in the state for the unemployed youth of the state who belong to the SC/ST communities of the state.
Motive of Airavata Scheme
The main motive of this scheme is to encourage the unemployed youth of the state to self-employment. By getting the benefits of this scheme, they can buy any of the Taxi vehicles and then become a partner of the company of transport company sectors like Ola, Uber, etc., with the help of it, they can generate a stable monthly income and secure their future.
Financial and Subsidy Benefits
In this scheme, financial benefits will be given to all the eligible candidates of the state. Under this scheme subsidy of up to Rs. 5 Lakhs will be given or half the price of the vehicle Cost. And the remaining half amount will be paid by the beneficiaries, or you can also pay the amount of the vehicle by taking a bank loan.
Eligibility Criteria
First of all, you need to check the eligibility Criteria and then apply for it.
- Applicant must be a citizen of the state.
- You belong to the schedule caste and the Scheduled Tribe of the state.
- The age of the applicant must be between 21 to 50 years.
- Every applicant must be a holder of an LMV License.
- The annual income of the family is not more than Rs 5,00,000/-.
- Applying candidates never received the financial benefits above Rs 1,00,00 from the government in the past days.
