What is Subhadra Yojana?
This scheme is introduced by the Odisha government, and the date of the scheme is fixed as the birthday of our former Chief Minister, Biju Patnaik ji, which falls on the 17th of September every year. In this scheme, the money of Rs. 10,000 is given to every woman, and this will continue for five years. So, the amount of Rs. 50,000 will be given to every woman by the government. The money will be divided into two parts, one will be given on Raksha Bandhan day, which is Rs. 5,000, and the other will be given on International Women’s Day, which is again Rs. 5,000. But only the women of Odisha will get the money, i.e., they should be permanent residents of our state, and their age should range between 21 years to 60 years. The budget of this scheme is fixed as Rs. 55,825 crores, and the number of women will be benefited by this amount is 1.25 crores.
What is CBDC Registration?
Now, you must be thinking what is this term, “CBDC.” ‘CBDC’ stands for “Central Bank Digital Currency.” It is also known as “Digital Rupee” or “e-Rupee.” It is a new form of digital money introduced by Reserve Bank of India, also known as “RBI.” It’s like the money in your Paytm or PhonePe, but this is a digital currency issued by our nation. Now, our government is sending a message that all Subhadra Yojana recipients have to perform ‘CBDC Registration’ so that they can get their payment directly in digital wallets.
CBDC Registration means you have to download a special app or go to your bank to activate this digital wallet. Once you register, the money from your Subhadra Yojana scheme will be sent by the government straight into this digital wallet rather than your normal bank account. This is a very secure and fast way of receiving money and you can also send it to your bank account later if you want.
What is CBDC Registration For Subhadra Yojana and Why It Is Important?
CBDC Registration For Subhadra Yojana CBDC Registration is the process in which you will be connecting your Subhadra Yojana benefits to your Digital Rupee wallet. This is an extremely significant step because our Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ji has announced that very soon we will be able to get all our Subhadra scheme money through only this method of CBDC or e-RUPI. If you don’t conduct CBDC Registration in your case, you might experience difficulties in receiving your next installment of Rs. 5,000.
The main reason why the government is doing this is that they want to stop fraud and corruption. Money going directly to the digital wallet cannot be taken away by someone else.
