So, in nutshell Yuva Sathi Scheme is a new unemployment allowance scheme of WB government, which was declared in the interim budget for 2026-27. This unemployment scheme was announced by Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya on 5th February 2026 and CM Mamata Banerjee was also there in that declaration.

Under this Yuva Sathi Yojana, the government will provide ₹1,500 every month to unemployed educated youth aged between 21 to 40 years. This amount will be given every month directly to your bank account until you get a job or for a maximum period of 5 years, whichever is earlier.
