The Kerala Government in their recent Cabinet Meeting making the decision to launched the new welfare scheme for the women of the state. The scheme is going to be introduced with Women Security Pension Scheme. In this scheme women, Transwomen will going to received monthly pension amount of Rs.1,000 every month. The scheme is targeted all that beneficiary women and transgender of the state who belongs to the poor families and till date not availing any kind of benefits from any welfare schemes of the state.
All the women who having the age 35 to 60 years will going to received monthly financial help who having Antyodaya Anna Yojana Yello Card and Pink card will be allowed to avail the benefits of the scheme. As per the government total 31. 34 Lakhs women are going to become the beneficiaries of the scheme and every year government have to expend the amount of Rs.3,800 Crore.

Motive to Launch
To provide the financial security to the women of the state this monthly security pension scheme launched in favour of women. This amount is distributed them through the DBT system. Every women who are eligible will received this fixed amount every month and spend the amount as per her choice.
