For the higher education financial support to the girl students in the state of Andhra Pradesh, HRD Minister Mr Nara Lokesh launched the Kalalaku Rekkalu Scheme 2026. This scheme is providing the benefits to the girl students from the next academic year, i.e. 2026-27. Recently the Lara Lokesh reviewed the education initiative of the students and now wants to prevent the students from the suicide scheme. Kalalaku Rekkalu Scheme
Now, all girl students from the state who wish to pursue their higher education will receive financial support from the government starting from the next academic year under the Kalalaku Rekkalu Scheme. The Education and Skill Development Department of the state receives instructions from the Ministers and plans to extend financial assistance to girl students who wish to continue their higher studies in India or abroad.
To date total of 27,112 girl students are studying overseas under the scheme, and 88,196 girl students continue their higher education in the country. This scheme will also help to boost female education in the state.
What is Kalalaku Rekkalu ?
This scheme is firstly Launched by the TDP Party in the state of Andhra Pradesh in 2024. Under this scheme the government act as guarantor of the education loan which is taken by the girl students for their education. Government also bear the interest of the same loan. All the girl students who complete their intermediate studies and then wish for professional courses will get the help from the side of government.

How this Scheme Work?
- Academic Year: This scheme is going to provide the financial supports to the beneficiaries from next academic year i.e. 2026.27.

Kalalaku Rekkalu Scheme Application Process
As we already told you that this scheme is going to be implemented from next academic year, so the officials are still working on its plan. The concerned official website will be launched, when government going to implement this scheme. But here are some steps after following which you are going to get benefits.
- All the eligible students will need to visit the official website( When Launched) and then have to complete the registration.
- When you complete the registration, then online certificate will be generated and then you have to submit the same to the bank, when you go to apply for the educational loan.
- With the help of the registration certificate, they will sanctioned the loan and government become the guarantor of the loan.
