The rollout for the scheme is going to be completed at the end of December, and then this scheme is going to be introduced in January 2026. Now the government is going to fulfil its commitment to the government by expanding the kits for maternal and child health.

Cost of Baby Kit Scheme
The kits, which are available under this scheme, will be supplied under the two-year rate contract. The Cost of the kits was negotiated at Rs 1,989 per kit, which is lower than the kits available in other states, like in Telangana, the cost of the Kits is Rs 2,054 and in Tamil Nadu cost of the Kits Rs.2,428.98. The scheme is going to provide benefits total of 3.5 Lakhs women of the state, and the annual budget of the scheme is about 70 Crore.
Eligibility Criteria
The kits are only given to the new mom and kids if the delivery happened in:-
- Government Hospitals.
- Primary Health Centres of the state
- Community Health centres.
- Urban Health Centre or
- Any other government-recognised health centres
- Women must be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh state.
Mothers who deliver their child in private hospitals are not eligible for the scheme.

How to Get NTR Baby Kit Scheme?
- All the residents of the State of Andhra Pradesh who deliver their child in a government Hospital will be eligible to fill the form.
- Application form will be given by the Anganwadi Centre Officials after discharge from the hospital.
- Then have to fill out the form and give the list given above.
- Submit the form, and after verifying the form, the kit will be distributed to the beneficiaries.
