- The first and most important requirement is the vaccination proof. You have an updated anti-Rabies vaccine certificate, issued by a certified veterinarian, which will be renewed annually.
- Dog owners have to give their documents, like an Aadhar card, a voter card, and permanent address proof.

- For registration, dog owners visit the Kolkata Municipal Corporation official website and then click on the talk registration link: www.kmcgov.in
- If you are a new user, then register on this portal with your mobile number and verify with OTP. Old users have to login with their credentials.
- Now the application form will be open, in which you have to fill in details like Owner Name, mobile number, Assessee number, ward number, Premise No, street, address, and pin code.
- Select the ID type that you want to upload for verification, and then enter the ID number.
- Provide Dog Information:- In the next section, you have to provide dog information like name, age, colour, breed or any other distinct mark on it. Also give information about the date of the latest vaccination, the validity period of the vaccination and details about the veterinarian.
- You have to upload self self-attested copy of your ID proof as well as your dog vaccination record. This data will be uploaded to the attachment section.
- After filling in all the details, once you review your information. Also, download the demand notice print before proceeding with payment.
- Now you have to pay the registration fee online through UPI, Card, etc. After the payment is successful and you get confirmation, you will receive an acknowledgement or receipt to confirm your registration.
- When the verification is completed then you can download the registration certificate and unique ID tag. This unique ID tag is for your dog’s collar. You will receive this in your email, and now you can download it from the official portal.
