MP Samadhan Yojana – One Time Settlement Scheme Registration 2025, Eligibility

In the state of Madhya Pradesh, for the last three months, more than 50% of the state’s population has not been paying their electricity bills to the state’s electricity department. So to recover the 12,000 Crore of electricity dues in the state, State government of Madhya Pradesh launched its One-time Settlement Scheme 2025. This scheme is also be known with the name of Samadhan yojana 2025-26. With the help of this scheme government wants to encourage the consumers of the state to make the timely payment and get the benefits of the scheme. MP Samadhan Yojana One Time Settlement Scheme

From Last three month if you also not paid the electricity bill, then there is new scheme is launched to get the dues available against you. More than 1.75 crore consumers of the state who are not paying the electricity bill from last half of year. So for that reasons there is total Rs.12,000 crore due pending against them. To recover the same amount from the consumers, Madhya Pradesh government launched this One Time Settlement Scheme. In which they going to recover the Principal Amount by waiving the surcharge component.

In this scheme all the consumers i.e. Domestic, non-domestic, agricultural, and industrial, who are not paying their dues for Last three month will be able to get the benefits of the scheme.

Scheme Follow Principle

This scheme works on the principle, i.e. “ Come Early, Pay in Lump Sum and get Benefits”.

If any of the consumers who paid the one-time payment till 31^st December 2025, they will get the maximum waiver, which is up to 90%. The 90% waiver will be given to the domestic consumers and agricultural consumers category and other consumers i.e. non domestic and industrial ones, will get an 80% waiver.

Madhya Pradesh Samadhan Yojana, One-Time Settlement for Pending Electricity Bills

This is a newly launched scheme which is launched by the state government of Madhya Pradesh and introduced by the Chief Minister of the state, Mohan Yadav. By launching this scheme government is going to recover the pending dues of Rs.800 Crore from defaulting consumers of the state. In this scheme government offers them a waiver of Rs. 3,800 Crore in surcharges.

Aim to Launch

With the help of this scheme the Energy Department is giving the major relief to all the consumers to paid their unpaid dues and also going to improve the liquidity of the three DISCOM Companies of the state who are struggling with raising arrears. By launching this scheme department get the help to recover their dues and improve the Cash flow.

Eligibility Criteria for Consumers

This scheme is also known as MP Bijli Mafi Yojana in which bill waived upto 90%.

• Domestic Consumers
• Small Commercial Consumers
• Agricultural Consumers
• Permanent Citizen of Madhya Pradesh state who has pending Bills for Last three months.
• You must be registered electricity consumers of the Department in Madhya Pradesh.
• You are not government employee.

• Need to open the Official website of any of the DISCOM Company i.e. MPPKVVCL, MPMKVVCL, MPPoKVVCL.
• Now on the home page of the official website, you need find the scheme name i.e. MP Samadhan Scheme 2025 or Buft Bijli Bill Yojana.
• Need to enter the consumer details like Electricity Connection Number, name and Mobile Number.
• Here in front of you, you will get the complete details about Pending bill amount, surcharges or waiver amount.
• Have to choose the option of payment i.e. Lump sump or Instalment Payment.
• Pay the amount with the help of the credit card, debit card or UPI etc.
• Now get the receipt of Payment.
