In the state of Tamil Nadu, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin Launch new scheme for the Elderly couples of the state. Scheme introduced with the name of Tamil Nadu Special Temple Service Scheme. In this scheme all the elderly couple who having the age 70 years or above will be eligible for the scheme. The scheme is inaugurated by the Deputy CM at Historic Arulmigu Sri Parthasarathyswamy Temple at Triplicane. Tamil Nadu Special Temple Service Scheme
Under the guidance of the CM MK Stalin, Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin Launched this scheme on 10th November 2026 for elderly devotees of the state. Tamil Nadu Special Temple Service Scheme beneficiary must be 70 year or above. In this scheme, they are going to celebrate and recognise the spiritual devotion of 2,000Â elder couples in across 20 HR and CE. Every division will going to celebrate the special temple services for 100 elder couple and provide them, honour, blessing and traditional gifts.

Now with the help of this scheme all the senior citizen of the state who wants to visit the temple can without any kind of difficulties available the special temple service under the scheme.

Motive of TN Special Temple Service Scheme
The motive of this scheme is to show the gratitude and respect towards the elder people who dedicated their life for faith and family. This will also strengthen the spiritual and social fabric of temple in all over the state. Elder people can easily visit to any of the temple of the state.

The traditional gift which is given to the eligible elderly devotees of the state will cost of Rs.2,500. The gift contained the following items like:

- On 10th November 2025 under the guidance of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin, Deputy CM inaugurated this scheme to provide respect to the elder people of the state.
- The elder couple/ devotees who having the age of 70 years or above will received the Respect and Traditional Gift Pack worth rupees 2,500/-.
- Apart from it Udhyanidhi Stalin also going to inaugurate the construction of Residential Quarter for temple officials and staff.
- The total cost for the project is Rs.2.40 Crore in which 2.5 Crore required for Quarter.
