Mukhyamantri Mahalakshmi Kit Yojana

This Mahalaxmi Kit Yojana was launched by the state government of the UK in 2021, and since the same date, they have been distributing the kits at the time of a newborn baby. This scheme is also part of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Program. In this single kit, all kinds of essential items are available, which provide nutrition and cleanliness to the women and their newborn baby. Before this scheme, it only provided the kit at the birth of a girl Child. But now, after 2023, the kit will also be provided at the birth of a Boy child.

This scheme only provides the kit benefits for the birth of a maximum of two children, and you need to apply within 6 months after the birth of the infant. All women whose family income is less than Rs 6K per month are eligible to receive the Mahalakshmi Kit, and you can apply by contacting your nearest Anganwadi Centre.

• Permanent residents of the Uttarakhand state are eligible to receive this kit.

Uttarakhand Mahalaxmi Kit Yojana Application Process

• All women who are eligible for the scheme can avail the benefits of the scheme after submitting their application form.
• You can collect the UK Mahalaxmi Kit Application Form from the Anganwadi Centre.
• Anganwadi worker or Aasha Worker will help you to fill the form.
• Then need to attach the documents to the form and submit it in the same Anganwadi Centre.
• Then the official will send your form with documents to the concerned Women’s Empowerment and Child Development Department.
• After verifying your documents and eligibility, is list will be prepared by the official, and the kit will be distributed.
