The Indian government’s popular scheme for farmers, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, provides financial support to Indian farmers. This financial support will be given to the farmers who are economically weaker section. Till now Government of India has released 21 Installments to farmers, which gives benefits to approximately 9 crore farmers. The government distribute 18000 crore rupees to farmers through DBT. PM Kisan PFMS Status For 22nd Installment
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the government will provide 6000 rupees early to the small and marginal farmers of India. These 6000 rupees will be given in 3 Installments, and the amount will be given directly into the farmer’s bank account. PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date
In 2025 government of India has already released 3 instalments OF the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. For the next time 22nd Installment will be released, and it will be released in 2026. It is also the first Installment of 2026. According to the news website NDTV, the 22nd Installment will be released in the month of February 2026. The expected months will be between January to March. The Indian government has not confirmed any official date till now for the release.

More than 9 Crore Farmers Get Benefits
In the recent 21st instalment, Pradhanmantri Shri Narendra Modi gave the benefit of the scheme to more than 9 crore farmers, with the release of 18 crore rupees. A program was organised in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in which the payment was released. Some farmers did not receive the 21st instalment, due to not following the rules, not fulfilling the eligibility criteria, and some of the farmers did not link their bank account with Aadhar.
How to Check PM Kisan PFMS Status For 22nd Instalment?
- Farmers need to visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in.
- On the homepage, there are three options: new farmers registration, eKYC and know your status.
- Select the option of know your status, enter your registration number, fill in the captcha code and then click on get OTP.
- You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter that OTP, and now the beneficiary status with details like total number of instalments, payment released information, eKYC status and land seeding status of the farmer will be seen on your screen.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant farmer should be a permanent resident of India.
- Small and marginal farmers are eligible.
- Farmers who have land are eligible.
- Only active farmers what doing farming are eligible for the scheme.
Non eligible
- If farmers provide their age information wrong, their name will be removed from the list.
- Provide wrong information about the land details (khasra/ khatauni).
- Give wrong information about their bank account number, wrong IFSC code, or make a mistake at the time of filling the application form.
- Farmers who do not complete their e-KYC will not get their next instalment.
How to check the name in the PM Kisan Eligible list?

- When the portal is open, go to Farmers’ Corner.
- Then choose the beneficiary list option.
- Now select your state name, district, tehsil/block, and gram Panchayat.
- Now, click on the gate report button.
- Now all the eligible names list will be open on your screen.
What are the requirements to get payment without any delay?
- Complete your e-KYC: Do it with OTP or biometric-based e-KYC
- Link your bank account with Aadhar: Visit your nearest bank branch or any CSC centre to verify your details.
- Provide correct land records: Visit the local agriculture office
- If your registration is not active, then you have to activate your registration by providing your details.
How to do the KYC process under the PM Kisan Yojana?
- Visit the PM Kisan official website.
- Go to Farmers’ Corner and then click the E KYC option.
- Now enter your Aadhaar number, and then click on the search button.
- Now, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number.
- Enter your OTP into the website and submit.
- You will receive a message ” e-KYC is successfully completed”.
Note: If your mobile number is not linked with your Aadhaar, then you have to do your e-KYC process through a CSC centre. In the CSC Centre, this process will be done by biometric verification.
