Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) launch Abhay Yojana for 2025-26. PMC give a big relief to the property owners of Pune, in which they provide 75% waiver on penalties for the outstanding property tax dues. In Pune, this scheme will be active from the 15th of November 2025 and continue till the 15th of January 2026. There is a total of 2 months. You can settle your outstanding property tax penalties.
PMC Abhay Yojana
PMC Abhay Yojana is officially active from the 15th of November. If you are interested in the scheme, then you can apply for Abhay Yojana after the 15th. PMC commissioner Naval Kishor Ram officially requested all the residents of Pune to grab this opportunity and make their pending payments. If you are a property owner and have not paid your property tax balance can participate in this scheme. If you have already taken advantage of this scheme from 2015 to 2022, you are not eligible this time.
This scheme will give a 75% discount on the total penalties due to late payments, if any person paid the full base Tax amount. Residents can easily settle their dues in online and offline modes. For online, they have to visit the propertytax.punecorporation.org and apply for the scheme. In case you want to apply offline, then visit to Pune Municipal Corporation citizen facilitation centre or their partner Bank. Their partner banks are Bank of Maharashtra, Janata Sahakari Bank, ICICI Bank and Cosmos Bank. These centres are open on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays so the expires can easily pay their payments.

Motive of Abhay Yojana
With the help of Abhay Yojana, PMC will generate revenue by recovering its pending amounts. Officially, the scheme will be running for the last 10 years and help civic bodies to run their infrastructure and development progress. This is a settlement scheme in which you can pay all your pending property taxes, and you will get a rebate of 75% on penalties. PMC Pune having 12000 crore rupees outstanding amount for property owners. In the total amount, there is 3158 crore rupees as the tax amount, and 9000 crore rupees are penalties. Property owners do not pay their taxes on time, so the penalties will increase day by day. Under this scheme, PMC try to collect 5408 crore rupees in tax from property owners.

- Go to the property tax section, or you can follow the link.
- On this page, you will see a section for paying online (payment of taxes without an additional fee).
- Firstly have to register on this website with your property ID.
- After adding your property ID, click on the get infolink.
- Now your property tax with penalties will be displayed on your screen.
- A concession on your tax penalty will be displayed on your screen. Pay your outstanding property taxes.
