Punjab Chief Minister Mr Bhagwant Mann launched Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana on 6th of November 2023. The first phase of the scheme was started on the 27th of November to the 29th of February 2024. Also the increase the budget of the scheme up to 100 crore rupees. The Punjab government is working very fast on the new and old government schemes. In this scheme, every category old old-age person can visit their Holy pilgrimage free of cost. This scheme will also give benefits to all religious pilgrims.
Punjab Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana
Punjab Chief Minister released the first batch of Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana from Dhuri on 9th of November 2025. In this scheme, senior citizens and old-age persons of Punjab will get free pilgrimages. The Punjab government will bear all the expenses, including their travel, food and lodging. Officially, the scheme was launched on the 6th of November 2023, and now the CM of Punjab has launched the second phase of this scheme from Dhuri. From this Vidhan Sabha constituency, they will select 16000 pilgrims. Punjab Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana Registration
The registration process will be available online for the Tirth Yatra Yojana Punjab. For the registration process, you have to follow the process:-
- Visit the official website:- connect.punjab.gov.in.
- Now you have to sign up with your mobile or computer. Now, after signing up, you have to make a username and password. You have to verify your account with OTP verification.
- Now you have to log in with your username, password and go to the Citizen Services section.
- Select the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana.
- Now fill in the application form with your name, father’s or husband’s name, date of birth, complete address, Vidhan Sabha booth information and voter card number.
- Upload your documents, voter ID card, Aadhar card, latest passport-size photograph and fitness certificate issued by a government doctor.
- After checking all your details, submit your application form and note the application number. This application number helps you to know your status.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants’ age should be at least 50 years or older than those who are not eligible for the application.
- Should be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- All cast and religious residents are eligible to take advantage of the scheme.
- You should be physically fit to avail the benefit.
Selection Process
- After the application district administration will check all the entries.
- After that, a lucky draw will be organised for all the selected names.
- Every Vidhansabha booth having a limited number of persons will be selected. Out of 100 people, 40 will be selected from one batch.
- Selected persons will be notified through SMS. In this SMS, they will get the travel details, reporting location and instructions.
