  • Candidates having at least one handloom in their house.
  • Eligible candidates also have a valid savings bank account with CBS( Core Banking Solution).
  • Also having a valid passbook, which is issued by the Directorate of Handlooms and Textiles of Assam state.

Who can not apply?

  • If you are a weaver but non non-resident of the Assam state, then you are not eligible for this scheme.
  • If you don’t have any kind of handloom in your household, then not eligible for this scheme.
  • All weavers who don’t have a valid bank account with CBS, then you may be excluded from the scheme.

  • Visit to Official Website: There is a dedicated online portal of the scheme, i.e. swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in.
  • Complete Registration: Now, after visiting the portal, you have to register and complete the registration. At the time of registration, kindly put all the correct details as per your documents and also upload the documents.
  • Verification: Then the department official conducts the offline physical field verification of the registered applicant weaver to verify his eligibility.
  • Approval: When the verification is done, the officials will complete the verification on the official portal. You can also check your approval on the portal.
  • Procurement: After the final approval, every weaver will need to participate in procurement and then have to submit or list their product and define the quality.
  • Payment: After successful procurement, the weaver will also get the online payment within four days.
