Andhra Pradesh government is all set to launch Unnathi 2.0 Scheme from the new year, January 2026. This will give benefits to scheduled cast (SC) youth and make them financially independent under the SC youth self-empowerment scheme. Under this scheme government will give a subsidy on loans to youth who are interested in self-employment.
With this scheme, the government also helps them to provide skill training and employment opportunities. The government also plans to give opportunities to DWCRA women of Andhra Pradesh, in which they will get a loan within 48 hours. This scheme helps to encourage self-employment in Andhra Pradesh. Subsidy will be provided on loans taken for self-employment, and government financial assistance and business guidance will also be provided.
Unnathi 2.0 Scheme
The Andhra Pradesh government is going to implement the Unnathi 2.0 Scheme from January 2026. This is a scheme in which SC youth will get a subsidised loan for self-employment. Social and tribal welfare secretary MM Nayak gave directions to all the district collectors to collect the data of eligible candidates by the SERP and SC corporation.
This scheme will help in generating new job opportunities for tribal youth. Skill training is also provided to 10000 youth. The government also encourage them to start horticulture projects. The government help them to assist in various sectors like turmeric crop and rubber tree cultivation.

Selection Process
- The initial selection will start from the District Collector committee.
- Then ground-level survey will be conducted.
