The scheme was first announced in July 2025 with October 31, 2025 as deadline. Then government extended it to January 23, 2026. And now the latest extension is given till April 23, 2026. This is being describe as the “final and last” extension by government officials.

Principal Secretary of Urban Development, Suresh Kumar, has clearly said that this is the last administrative opportunity. After April 23, 2026, strict enforcement action will be taken against all unauthorised layouts and no regularisation will be allowed on same terms.

Step 1: Open your browser and go to the official LRS portal dtcp.ap.gov.in/LRS/ or directly visit lrsdtcp.ap.gov.in/PublicApplicationSearch.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the option that say “Know Your Application Status” – it is usually shown in highlighted box.

Step 3: Click on that option and a new page will open where you need to enter your Application Number that you received at the time of submitting the form.

Step 4: After entering your application number, click on “Search” or “Submit” button.
