What is Ungaludan Stalin Scheme or Project?
The Ungaludan Stalin scheme is a very big and important initiative launched by the Tamil Nadu State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister MK Stalin. The name “Ungaludan Stalin” simply means “Stalin With You” in Tamil language. This scheme is basically a government service delivery campaign where government officers and officials they come to your doorstep and helps you get benefits from various welfare schemes – without you having to go to any government office.

This Ungaludan Stalin project was officially started on 15th July 2025, and under this scheme, the government has organise total 10,000 special camps across the whole Tamil Nadu state. Out of these, around 3,768 camps are in urban areas and 6,232 camps are planned in rural areas. This scheme covers 13 departments with 43 services in urban areas and 15 departments with 46 services in rural areas.
The main idea behind this Ungaludan Stalin project is that many poor and elderly peoples of Tamil Nadu, they don’t know how to use internet or they cannot travel long distance to government offices. So the government bring the services directly to them at their village level or ward level camps. Services like getting caste certificate, changing Patta name, applying for old age pension, getting Aadhaar correction, ration card address correction, medical insurance card – all these things can be done at these camps only.
This is truly a very great initiative by Tamil Nadu government and lakhs of people have already take benefit from this scheme.
