An eligible person will get a subsidy of up to 90% on shed construction. The Andhra Pradesh government started this scheme for farmers having domestic animals, especially Dairy animals. This will help them to make a permanent shelter for animals, which will save them from direct sunlight and rain. Eligible farmers have to bear only 10% of the total amount, and the remaining 90% will be paid by the government in the form of a subsidy. Subsidy percentage will start from 70% and go up to 90% according to eligibility. The eligibility criteria are mentioned in the next paragraph.
To promote the Dairy sector in the state of Andhra Pradesh, a Scheme was launched by the government, which is called ‘Gokulam Shed Scheme’ or ‘AP Gokulam Shed Subsidy Scheme’.
