They also give information about the distribution date of the Assam police appointment letter. These appointment letters will be issued on the 3rd of December 2025 in Guwahati.

What’s Babu Asoni’s Scheme?

This is a welfare scheme specially for the Boys students of Assam. It is similar to the Nijut Moina Scheme, which focuses especially on the girl students. The government is focusing on providing equal support for boys and girls in which help them with financial support, and educational support will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria Babu Asoni Scheme

The Assam government set some criteria for students:-

• Only Assam permanent residents are eligible.
• The scheme is especially for boys.
• The student is active in studies in a government school, recognised by the government.
• Boy’s family income should be updated soon.
• A student having a bank account that is linked to Aadhaar.

• This scheme is only for the male students of Assam.

Currently, the Assam government has not set a date for the official launch, but it is expected that the Babu Asoni Scheme will be launched in January 2026. In some portals, they confirm the official launch date is 1st of January 2026, but we are not confirming it.
